This is really enjoyable entry into the series. I like the Brotherhood guild itself and their help available. Rome is well built and beautiful to explore and the original aspects of the game remain fun.

The best of the series really. Rich features, lots of secondary content without losing focus on the story. Multilayer sadly dead by now. Not as rich as AC3 but far more intersting and enjoyable. The deluxe edition give nice content too.

The definitive Assassin's Creed experience. Continues Ezio's story from Assassin's Creed II. Features the massive city of Rome, and builds upon the foundation of the previous game by adding multiple new layers of side-quests. Memorable new antagonists make an appearance in this installment, along with a brand new multiplayer mode, a first for the series. Feels like it should have been an expansion to Assassin's Creed II, but adds a surprisingly large amount of content. Desmpnd's story, however, is particularly disappointing. Buy it!

The direct sequel to Assassin's Creed II, the game continues the adventures and story of Ezio Auditore, but this time in Rome and against new enemies.

The map is huge, with lots of things to do and to explore, new weapons and new economy system has been implemented.

The game's graphics are absolutely beautiful, voice acting is still as good as it was in the previous title.

This is a very good game and is a must for who enjoyed Assassin's creed games! 9/10

Assassin's Creed II is definitely one of my favourite games of the last 12 months. It was a meaty gaming meal that took several steps towards fulfilling the promise of the original, with new mechanics, more variety in gameplay, and an alluring new setting: renaissance Italy. It was a big leap, in other words: a worthy sequel in all regards.

Brotherhood, on the other hand, will have a slightly harder time proving its worth. Rather than moving to a new time period, it continues directly on from the events of Assassin's Creed II, only with the action shifting almost entirely to Rome. Like previous titles, there's also a modern-day component. The game is once again framed by the on-going battle between the Templars and Assassins, and players are actually assuming the role of Desmond, who lives in the present day and is able to experience the memories of his ancestor Ezio using a device called the animus. The game cuts between the two time periods but the bulk of the gameplay occurs in renaissance Rome.

got it on sale and ill say its so much worth it. the 1st few hours is almost like a tutorial but as soon as it progresses, it becomes a sandbox game and you could pretty much do whatever you want. great game to pass till AC3 goes on sale!

The game is amazing. I did not play the previous editions and it was easy to follow the story and learn the moves. It is very interesting and captivating. Definitely a good buy.

A great entry into the Assassins Creed series. The plot is amazing, many of the mechanics from the second game have been refined and the graphics are great! The only downside is that is cannot be run through steam or on its own, it has to be run through Uplay.

This game plays just like AC2, so if you played it, there's no need to get into the nuances of the game. The short version is, it's basically the same game, but with a somewhat weaker story. Still a great deal of fun though, so I still give it full marks and a very high recommendation!

Well too start off it is definitely an improvement over Assassins Creed 2. You are only limited to Rome this time though but there are tons and tons of activities to do. Multiplayer has some problems with it's match maker so it will take some time to get into the battle and I truthfully don't find it all that fun.

Definitely a game worth buying just for singleplayer though.

It also contains a multiplayer mode which has some matchmaking issues. So if you're looking only for the multiplayer you shouldn't buy this.

Still a must-buy for fans of the series!

This AC suprised me actually. I'm a gamer of classic curcumstances; if it doesn't fit into the original, i find it hard to like. But when it comes to the AC franchise, that's hard to dislike. It stays with its original storyline, while adding newer things every game to keep you wanting more. I would definitely pay for this game, knowing that i'd spend plenty of time on it, & you will get your moneys worth out of it in no time. 5 stars in my book.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood improves on pretty much every aspect over Assassin's Creed 2. There are more activities, and although it is pretty much limited to one city (Rome), it's a big city, filled with interesting locations and missions. Combat has been improved, and so has multiplayer (which I haven't played much, since I'm much more of a single-player guy).

Still, a good sucessor to Assassin's Creed 2, and a must-have game for the fans of the series.

It is 100% worth buying it.

It's a bit old now and Assassin's Creed Revelations is coming out, however, this game is worth every cent and I would recommend everyone to buy this game as well as Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed II.

BUT BE AWARE! Multiplayer has BIG matchmaking problems. Sometimes it takes minutes to find a match, sometimes hours. So be careful if you're buying this only for multiplayer.

Mais um grande jogo da série, apenas achei o combate demasiado facilitado ao ponto de matar uma dúzia de inimigos em poucos segundos em sequência e o modo online tinha certos problemas por resolver, de resto a história continua espectacular e estou ansioso por saber como acaba...

Oh Ubisoft, how you managed to make such an amazing game in just a year is beyond be, but kudos regardless. What can I say, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is every bit as great as Assassin's Creed 2. Don't get fooled by the focus on showing the multiplayer in the marketing for this game, the single player campaign is just as big as it has been in previous entries, clocking anywhere from 15 to over 20 hours. Multiplayer is a fun distraction until you unlock everything and hit level 50 (should take you anywhere from 24 to 30 hours). Now be careful if you want to buy this for the multiplayer, the matchmaking is, well, not that great so you might have a tough time getting into matches.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is really a great addition to the Assassin's Creed Series, it adds a very refined multiplayer mode, and the singleplayer mode is greater than ever! They have for example made some kind of Synch mode for more hardcore players, which adds some extra conditions on each mission. It's a must play if you enjoyed the other games.

I have the feeling of the game being an update/DLC to Assassin's creed 2. It lacks many expectations. As for the online multiplayer, Kudos for going online but there are some stupid delays (e.g. you cannot kill a person before 3 seconds of killing another, will obviously get me killed-frustrating) That said, there is also some glitches (Hope it wasn't stupidly designed like that) when chasing, you can get killed with the chaser around 15m behind you so you are totally ****ed and lacks sense of even trying to escape.

Bom mais pra quem ainda não comprou vale a pena ter na coleção armas, roupas, stilos muito diferente do Assassin's Creed 2, muito legal nota 10.

If you liked the first two, this one is a must play. It keeps building on all of the features in the first two games, and keeps adding more, like the shops.

The multiplayer is extremely fun. Fast paced gameplay, mixed with slow stalking and hiding. The only downside is it takes awhile for the matchmaking to find you a game.

There is little to say that you wouldn't expect. The game is done neatly: brilliant game design, game mechanics are as expected working well, the aesthetics are at time breath taking. One would expect as much when you play a game and can actually see real areas that in some shape or form still remain now. Architecture nicely depicts the time period.

You are more than likely to have played previous titles and so the control schematics will not alienate you. It is pretty much the same, working as it should and comfortable. If you are new to it it's also easy to pick up and get used to thus making the learning curve just what you would want as a casual gamer (not so much if you were a hardcore player that wants a challenge in everything you touch, but you will get your own).

The story line is done well even if the ending does leave you more puzzled than you would probably like. However at the casual level it is fully enough to take your attention and leave you wanting for the continuity of it all.

You also get to manage a few things, like your own guild and shops (to the latter you are merely an investor though at which case you will get items to unlock new weapons etc.) however the majority of the game remains the same if adding more ways to complete the objective and sometimes even pushing you to use them.

With Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, the developers significantly refined the game formula from the previous installments. They left the core mechanics intact while introducing some new elements and successfully tweaking a few things that didn't work so well in the past. Main differences are:

- most missions have an optional 100% synchronization condition, usually not too difficult, but chosen so that you must be a little more careful, plan better and behave like a true Assassin instead of making a bloodbath;

- side missions are no longer just filler, they are well incorporated into the story and among them were some of my favourite moments in the game;

- I love watching my Assassin recruits at work, it's just like in the trailers;

- the player gets a little more involved in the life of the city;

- Virtual Training, which presents the player with a variety of timed challenges and which thought me one or two very useful things; leaderboards are kept so you can compete with your friends as well.

The length of the single player campaign is also worth noting. I was afraid that the accent would be on multiplayer and that the single player side would suffer, but not only were the mechanics of the game improved, the amount of the content is also very satisfying, as it took me around 40 hours to do all there is to be done in the game.

The multiplayer itself is a lot of fun, with a variety of free for all and team modes.

As for choosing the game edition, I am very pleased with my choice of Digital Deluxe which contains some nice in game extras and digital goodies, but those are just a tiny bit of the game's contents, so if you have to be careful about your spending, there's nothing wrong with the regular edition. In either case, I highly recommend the game.

AC:Brotherhood is hands down the current best third person action game on the pc this year. Although there is no major overhaul, the game builds on the second one and introduces a lot of new features as well as a compelling story.

The visuals have been improved, lighting looks more dynamic and contrasting, Rome is a massive beautiful city to explore.

The game focuses more on management of shops and the creed. You can invest and renovate shops as well as upgrading faction houses. You can recruit members to the creed, customize their cloth colour, upgrade their armor and weapons and send them on contracts. This game has more depth to it than the second.
