Gods: Lands of Infinity Special Edition

Rating: 3.4 (82 votes cast)

The ancient world of Bellarion struggled in the never ending war of Gods. The conflict began when Xarax, ruler of the Gods, was murdered. Each of the remaining Gods claimed the right to the Divine Throne. After many battles, the defeated Gods refused to submit to the victors and instead summoned their armies to attack the worshippers of other Gods. The deaths of those worshippers weakened the power of the conquering Gods. After 2000 years of battles, Bellarion lay in ruins. No one was able to achieve victory until the God of Darkness, Mortagon, found a new weapon which resisted all magic and divine powers.

As the last hope Arswaargh, the God of Fire, created Vivien, who he fashioned after his own astral body. Arswaargh sent Vivien through space and time to seek the counter-weapon needed to defy Mortagorn, but unfortunately, she lost her divine essence while traveling through the magical portal to another world. Vivien must now seek the Gods of the new world, gain back her power and search for the counter-weapon against Mortagorn.

It's a good rpg. Ispired to Might and Magic serie, it's built also on a Strong trade system. Plot has many cliches, but with some surprise. above all in final. a good rpg, with a tatctical turn based combat-sistem. Not a masterpiece, but pleasant to play.

Hi,

Gods: Lands of Infinity (SE), is a huge (RPG) adventure. Has configurable keys, autorun, quests, maps = local map + world map, journal, inventory, camp + more. The adventure is in (FPS) perspective, when battles are engaged it is in (3PS)(TPS) mode. When adventuring in (FPS) mode, move at a click/button angle rotation + has directional config. keys. The mouse answers the questions you choose to answer. Superb graphics, NPC speeches, sound effects + more. Has, inventory slots, same items stack, character build slots. Gain experience, level up attributes. Buy/sell with gold + items. Note taking on local map. Enemies like, creatures, bandits, wolves, spiders + much more. Collect ingredients for your alchemy recipes. Advance in professions, chat to townsfolk or NPC's, control party formations + more. Has day/night + weather effects.

Excellent (RPG), in (FPS) + (3PS)(TPS) modes,

A classic in my eyes, and a great game to go with if you want to satisfy that urge you have between games. ;) Definitely recommended for those who like the genre, and even those who are curious! Give it a whirl, whether it's a couple of hours or a couple days worth of time. It's not a game that you'll play and be disappointed if you just stop outright. It's very satisfying for any amount of time you put into it. =]

A pretty fun first person rpg with some final fantasy like turnbased combat. the environments are pretty static and for some reason there are no interior dungeons. all of it take place outdoors. weird

Old School style RPG.

Very similar to the Might&Magic series or RPG's with a little better graphics and same style of party building, questing and character development.

Its isn't a bad little game and can be modified easy enough.

The game losses stars because of its price...Just to expensive for the type of game it is, only harcore rpg fans will pay for.
