Hotel Giant 2 Edition 2012 review

Honestly, i thought you were going to be able to place objects and walk around as a manager in the game. That would have been very refreshing to be able to talk to customers to make them happy, rather then just change prices and change the buildings facilities. Very disappointed in this game. Also the very beginning makes you dizzy to the point you just don't feel good if you try to read anything because of the odd way it spins. Comes with pre-made maps and stuff where you just manage, you don't have your say how you want to build it as well. Tutorials long winded and doesn't really help as you have to read through piles of crap that don't make a difference. Worst game I spent 10 Bucks on lately. However, for a low end game it's ok. If you want a quick fix this is a poor game to do it with. If you do want a manager game like that, i would just get sim tower. Thats much more fun and worth it. At least ea cared to fix the bugs in the games back then.

I usually like most building games but this game was not very fun and the graphics were terrible. I tried playing it for hours thinking i could get the hang on it but it just wasn't very entertaining

Hotel Giant 2 Edition 2012 review

Hotel Giant 2 can keep you playing for hours and hours. It can get a little tiring if you've been at it for too long, as it requires you to design, set and manage everything to the smallest details, even every dish on your hotel resturant's menu. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I need a little break. Overall, it's a good game.

Hotel Giant 2 is an interesting game, before I go farther I will say right now that it is not for everyone, you will either like it or hate it.

Your main goal in Hotel Giant 2, like in the first game, is to make money and please your customers. Often this requires balancing cost with satisfaction. Often you'll design a room, look at comments, redesign, look again, maybe change prices and so forth.

It can get repetitive, though once you play it a couple times you'll be able to save designs from previous hotels in the game and thus reduce the amount of repetition you have to do...often.

Outside of room design, the other things you'll have to design (business centers, restaurants, health centers, game rooms, etc.) are similar but feel a lot more simplified and less customization over them.

Overall I think it is a fun game, it isn't anything special, but if you've ever wanted to create and run a hotel, it is worth a look. It isn't a game you'll probably play for 12 hour straight, but if you like business simulators/strategy and always wanted to try your hand at hotel management, it is worth the price.
