Limbraid... or Braimbo, whichever you prefer

By TheJabberwock posted 24th January

A decent little platformer. If you liked Braid and Limbo, it's worth a download, but understand that Lament is not as good as either. It's as if someone took out all the best bits like atmosphere and more creative puzzle play from both and then crammed them together. Still fun though.

I'm a sucker for aesthetics (I mean, just look at my name), and this game delivers in that front with some nice scenery, sounds, and experience. Gameplay wise, its a bit short, but I think its worth it for any gamers out there looking for a short and charming 'experience' game. I know I sure enjoyed it.

Nice, but a bit too short

I added this game for my collection - well, got it as a gift, actually - because I really loved that "LIMBO-feeling" of it. It's a very nice, the graphics are beautiful. Some parts are a bit tricky, but even with that, it's a short game. The setting is awesome, and the ending made me cry a little bit. If you're short on time, but wish to play an understandable, beautifully set and drawn game, this is for you!

This is a pretty nice game, with a very hand-drawn feel to it. The graphics are quite LIMBO inspired. But the controls are floaty. It's quite precise in parts so it can get a little frustrating. It's very much like other platformer only offering a slightly new mechanic. It's a pretty short game. I'd say its worth a buy for the price its at. It's not exceptional, but its a good experience.

Nice, but simple, game

It is a pretty game with a nice atmosphere. However, the game does not really offer much of a challenge, as most of the puzzles are both obvious and easily finished. The mechanics are nice, but have been done before (The Fourth Wall for example). As for length, it is not a lengthy game (I did not check the time, but it probably took me less than half an hour). When you finish you are returned to the start to complete anything you may have missed.

While I may sound quite negative here, it is actually a pleasant experience for casual gaming. It is definitely worth the price.
