Neighbours from Hell Compilation review

Hey, it's not hardcore, it's not long, it's not even headbraker. It's just fun. Basically what you have to do is to make revenge on your ugly, stupid, disturbing neighbour. How? Easily, set up traps like electricity cable in water, wine in washing machine, egg in microwave oven, honey instead of sun protection creme while bee nest is nearby and much much more. 1st game is all about house and how ruin your neighbour's activites and enjoyments and the other game is about how to ruin neighbour's vacation! Don't miss this, even if you think it's useless game. Very good for coffee breaks, great to share with colleagues.

I am on windows 7 64-bit and I found this game to be literally unplayable. As soon as you start the game it freezes while the music continues to play. It is as if it is now updating the screen for some reason because I can get to the new game screen by doing a ctrl+shift+esc and reopening the game window. On the first window you can only see mouse movements on a small portion of the screen. and the new game screen no movement of the mouse can be seen at all. Further more do not expect any support for this game. The publisher's main website does not seem to exist any more. There is a site dedicated to the game but don't expect any support from it as it links to a non-existent forum. If have not tested the email provided but not counting on it. The site was last updated in 2003. There do seem to be some patches floating around on the web and I have not tested them as they seemed to be unofficial or targeted at windows XP rather than 7. As such you may have better luck with an version of windows older the 7 like XP. I think the patch I say was directed at solving a problem with SP2 so if you don't have that service pack you may have better luck as well.

Casual and funny game! Put traps on your neighbour with various tools found in his house at your disposal! Try pulling the perfect tricks to get the perfect score per episode, which makes it a decent game for replayability.

The downside in the first game is that you just rehash old tricks with only one or two new one added in the next episode/levels. The second game has fewer episode/levels to play with but a whole different area per episode/levels. Which makes it good enought.

Reccomended for casual gamers who enjoy light humor.
