Good game for the rare genre... but...

By kikuchiGamer posted 14th July 2012

I'm really fan of police/military games... I played all Swat game series, and I was really searching for a game like this. It is fun, there are some nice things to do, but I think the devs should make a little more gameplay factors, like... if you are going to arrest someone, so arrest... the handcuffs magically appear in the bandit/victim arms...

The characters does not fight, even in fight combats... they just make some strange moves...

Because this is a rare game to find (police sim), I'm enjoying it right now... trully...

But you should expect less than it really is...

The game is abit fun however it is very repetitive and you will quickly get bored with it. I am disapointed with it. I expected better graphics, more options to do in the game and more freedom then tailored scenes.

Yes the graphics are dated, yes the controls are fairly static (I have not seen a way to change them in game) but the game offers some interesting game play. The only real mode is career mode, where you play a male cop and female cop that go together and have different gear along with separate life bars. Missions are done in 30 minute bursts and there is a briefing for an overall goal for each mission. It could have gone a silly grand theft auto like route, but instead sticks to a patrol feel, as you go around looking at people with your PDA (to check if they're wanted or not) and keeping an eye out for trouble. It is fairly simple to play but effective if you want the police sim feel. I'd only recommend this to someone who is a die hard for wanting this kind of game, as the dated graphics and controls may turn off someone more casual about it.
