Rating: 4.5 (39 votes cast)

Includes the full game, Soundtrack, and two upcoming DLC's!

When you’re dropped off to visit your uncle, you notice something’s wrong. He’s not there to greet you. There was an explosion just as you arrived. And the house seems to be even weirder than you remember. It’s up to you to find—and ultimately rescue—your uncle. Use his newest invention, the Interdimensional Shift Device (or IDS), to switch between five different dimensions and solve puzzles. Switch dimensions in real time, work your way through the crazy complex mansion, and rescue your uncle!

  • Engaging Puzzle Gameplay: Using the Inter–Dimensional Shift Device, players will shift to and from various dimensions to manipulate the world around them.
  • Experience New Dimensions: Each dimension the player gains access to becomes a valuable asset to manipulate objects around the manor. Move between the Normal, Fluffy, Heavy, Slow-Motion and Reverse Gravity Dimensions on the fly.
  • Immersive, Interactive Environment: The look and feel of each dimension is completely distinct. When shifting to the Fluffy Dimension, everything in the room becomes a soft and cuddly version of its previous state.
  • Unique Art Style and Humor: The Professor’s manor and all the items within it have a unique style, but players should also be on the lookout for humorous touches scattered throughout.

Quantum Conundrum Season Pass review

This game is one of those puzzle games i really enjoy.

I am personally a person that really enjoys something that forces you to use your mind.

It has a good appeal to me. Some of the stuff may seem a bit repetitive, but other stuff just seems out of the box. Certain places they could have done something better, like not just make it a straight away puzzle.

I had been looking forward to this game for a while, and let me tell you, I was not let down.

While I will admit that the game lacks some polish, it is made up for in by its amazing art style, corny (and sometimes retarded) humor, and great puzzle design. However, at some points I was scratching my head and saying "why..." because some puzzles involve tedious platforming. That is only about 5% of the game, though. I finished Quantum Conundrum in around six hours; however, that was a very enjoyable six hours. I still have to go back and do all the puzzles again to beat the goal time and dimension shifts, obtain all the collectibles, and complete all the stages without dying.

I greatly enjoyed the time I spent with Quantum Conundrum, and although some of the puzzles were annoying, I still recommend this to anyone who likes puzzle games.

Highly lacks in graphic options - you only get to set resolution by flicking through each one, one by one, with it refreshing every time, or editing an ini file. There is NO other graphical options.

Environments get repetitive and boring after a while, but the unique game-play and puzzles make up for that.

On a very sour note - I was under the impression the 2 DLC packs would be made after the game is released. It appears the DLC has already been created - with achievements already being there, and the game seems to end abruptly, as if the rest got cut out.

If you don't mind DLC shenanigans like that, and having to go on a treasure hunt to get desired graphical settings, then it is a good unique puzzler. Unfortunately the issues let's it down.

A very good but technically flawed title from the woman behind Portal. This Unreal Engine 3 powered First Person Puzzler has the charm and the gameplay just like Portal. Its dimension switching mechanic actually makes the game more interesting Kim Swifts first game. The art style is really nice, giving the game a unique feel. The game isnt too long, Id say around 5 hours. It all depends how good you are at puzzles, of course. The season pass, which includes two upcoming DLCs is a great deal. The bad thing about the game is that it has very limited graphics options, and an FOV that will implode the brains of people who cant play at FOV60.
