The $1.50 I spent on this scored me an absolute bargain, the sheer addictiveness of this game is mind blowing, it is very accesible and the micromanagement makes you think - what's the next cool ride being researched. Even the old school graphics have a certain charm that modern games don't have, apparently the games is one of the biggest programs ever written in assembly.

Great game. Been a while since I've played it. Probably one of my favorite types of simulation games. Love making sick rollercoasters, even if the guests think the ride is too intense for them. Amazing game, one of my favorites.

A great classic, that is still great 15 years after release. You can never go wrong with some old RollerCoaster Tycoon action! And for only $1.50? Why aren't you already playing it?!

I remember running this game on old computers just fine, you could play it with the highest performance even if you owned an old machine. This is the finest pixel graphics you will ever see. This game is a prime example of genius coding.

Fun and entertaining for hours, this is basically a sandbox game where you can go wild with your roller coaster designs. I haven't played with the expansion packs before and this Deluxe pack contains them all.

A heads up for those who oldies who played it on other installation languages; This Deluxe package is ENGLISH ONLY. You have to use your master google skills to find an external source if you wish to play this game in your language.

Due to the fact this is a bit of an older game, I find it a little on the hard side to review since everyone knows what it is. It's still a great game though, and it works well on windows 7. The biggest issue I had with the game was installing it because it needed to keep the temp files after installation because it looked to them for the CD, and a demo of this game from before also lingered in my registry which prevented me from installing it until I deleted that. The game is still insanely fun though, and it's a great trip down memory lane.

So many childhood memories with this game, brings them all flooding back! Works perfectly on Windows 7 64 bit as well for anyone wondering. Only thing is to keep the installation files you downloaded because you still need them to run the game

Great memories of this game back with my Windows 95 machine. Crazy that a game so old can be just as much fun today!

Excellent game, great atmosphere, but ONE setback.

The gameplay itself is almost too good to be true. Complex, yet simple. Engrossing, yet undeniably fun.

The only negative aspect I can think of is the lack of free-play with unlimited money. It was introduced in RCT3, but I just wished they would have thought of it for the first game.

One of my favorite games of all time, and I did not own the two expansion packs that are included so I purchased this deluexe edition, for around £1 which is an amazing deal. This is my favorite of the RCT series, where I love the campaigns!

Re-live a classic!

I'd spend hours and hours playing this game on the old Windows 98 back when I was small, and I still can't flaw it's versatile and customisable nature! The old 2D/3D style tycoon charm is still there, and is worthy of even competing against current titles of the same genre! This game is one of the small collection that shaped my childhood, and continues to light up my teenage years.

This game is a classic. I played this first many years ago, and had so much fun. Over a decade later, I bought it again off of gamersgate. It is a fantastic business/theme park management game. I've been through the franchise, and while the later games did have some advantages, as well as better graphics, none of them I enjoyed quite like this.

Funny enough, RC1 is better then both RC2 and RC3.

Very basic graphics in this version.

Best way to grow park fast is to build one large ride and two of each small ride. Put the small rides on opposite ends of the park. Set entrance fee to $15 and charge between $.50 and $.90 for each small ride or $1.20 to $2.00 for large rides. Normally finish every scenario before the first year is up.

Still a great game and it works works in 64 bits windows.

If anyone is going to play it, do not delete the files downloaded to install the game, they are necessary to play, and they must be where they were during install.

Great game even it is old.

Even though the game industries is so big and there is so much available, its hard to compete witch some good old games. This game still brings a lot of fun possibilities and great gameplay which even newer games cant give. It brings the past back to life :)
