A rather well balanced speedway sim

By gcb50 posted 31st March 2012

It'd be easy to dismiss this game at first glance, because the graphics are nowhere near as realistic looking as other racing sims about -but- this is speedway racing, on short, dirt oval tracks, and take it from someone who's driven on such tracks ; there is -no- time to look at any scenery. So, instead of 'fancy' graphics, what you get is constant high FPS, and a rather nice game physics engine, with car adjustments that 'make sense' without getting overly technical, and a car/driving simulation 'feel' that is akin to the real thing - the quicker you go, the busier it gets. Works flawlessly on linux, via crossover/wine (nvidia GPU & drivers)
