The Lost Crown: A Ghost Hunting Adventure review

Extremely long but very compelling game that rarely drags. Just when you think things are about to lag, a new twist or new clue appears to propel you further in the game. It's just intuitive enough to not be frustrating, but challenging enough to hold interest.

Theme is largely paranormal, and much more creepy or eerie than horror. The avatar is rather slow, and won't run to save his life, but the quality of the game more than makes up for it. It offers up a few scares, but the treasure hunt-murder mystery-ghost stories-village secrets themes intertwine to combine into a topnotch storyline in a deliciously creepy setting.

Without a doubt the best horror adventure game I have ever played, very much looking forward to the sequel game next year. This game keeps you glued to your pc with a fascinating storylines great puzzles, lots of placed to explore which are based on real places. you also have to do a bit of ghost hunting which is said to use real life recordings of paranormal activity. A must play game, you will not be dissapointed.

The Lost Crown is a very spooky game. It employs a fresh approach to the horror genre than the usual psycho murderer/killer ghosts/demons type deal. Overall it offers some good scares in the "paranormal" investigator vein. Unfortunately the entire game is let down by poor control - the player's avatar moves painfully slow. You have to play the game to understand how slow the movement is. It's horrible when you're moving the character from one location in a room to another... This oversight adds hours onto the playtime and is frustrating to the point of breaking the experience.

Wow, what an awesome experience. This would have to be, without a doubt, one of the most creepy adventure games ever. You arrive at a town before May Day to discover a very out-of-the-way town holding many secrets. What sets this game apart from the rest is the level of detail in the story, the wonderful characterisation, and the stunning visuals. I was expecting somewhat of a ghosthunting experience with the usual setups, but I could honestly not expect what was coming around every corner. The value of this game is amazing - it took me about 2 weeks to finish the game, around 35 hours, and I was sad when it finished. Please give this game a go, especially if you are fans of great suspense thrillers. Well done to the creator of this game.
