One the one hand, the plot is silly, the physics absurd, and the gameplay somewhat repetitive. On the other hand, you can run an attack helicopter into an oil refinery. Great game! Lot's of fun!

Everything important about the game itself can be read in the many reviews of the single game. The complete edition here includes all DLCs available at a good price. I really like the new vehicles and weapons. They give you a second chance to play the game and / or play it a little bit different. Most of them are just fun, like the monster truck. You do not really need them. However, I enjoy having them. But I made a terrible mistake: The complete edition is more expensive than buying everything alone - if you do not want the web guide. So spare the complete edition and buy the single game and the DLCs (not the expensive guide)

I usually don't like this type of game, but I had a blast playing it. It's very similar to Far Cry 3 with it's an open world third-person shooter, but they use the equipment in the game creatively, like hooking a moving car to the ground with a grappling hook to have it flip up in the air and crash.

There's tons of content already with hours and hours of play time, the DLC just adds to the fun and carnage. The story isn't half bad either.

This game is really fun. It gives you a lot of freedom and I will forget to play the story many times just for exploring the island with a airplane. The story is fun to, but the quest can be very repetive. And the grappling hook you have with you it's amazing. It's so fun to grapple around, and double grapple things.

This is no great game with a huge story but a simple "destroy whatever you can" type of game. The action is silly and mostly over the top but that doesn't matter. That is not what you play this game for. You play it so you can attach a truck to a helicopter to use it as wrecking ball on a military base then jump from the chopper into the base to steal a plane and nuke some people while falling.

If focusing on the main "story" the game is over quite fast. But it offers enough side missions or simple "kill everything" places so that you can continue to play for hours.

If you want atmosphere and story: Play "The Saboteur". Otherwise: Play this or better: Both.

Just cause was a great game with a nice story line and full of action. You could interact with the wide environment in many ways. Compared to other sandbox games, this had so much more actionable items. Just cause 2 lives up to improve the experience. This pack is a must buy for the offer price. Though the DLCs don't add any extra missions, they are worth while on sale

I've played it a lot on the XBOX 360, and I absolutely loved it, I found myself parachuting around for no particular reason for hours sometimes, just for the fun of it.

Playing it on a PC with a PS3/360 controller is what I'll do next.

this is best open world game i played it is the mix of total overdose and grand theft auto with loads of explosion.when iam bored with mission i just roam the city with tank without showing any mercy

This is so much more than a "Blow Stuff Up!" game...

The island is lovely to behold - day/night, weather is all neat to look at. Playing in a semi-persistant open world is great as well. While a lot of the missions are repetitive, (Blow XYZ up) it simply is a joy to do so here.

The DLC is fun, but can be done without - I bought the complete pack anyway due to the fantastic sale price here at GG!

One of the biggest and best sandbox games I have played in a long time. There is so much to do in this game that you will be playing for quite a while.

Just Cause 2 was already quite an entertaining game if you were looking for casual action. It may not have the most exquisite plot nor most elaborate, but it does fulfill it's role of getting a pourpose rolling for all the amazing mayhem and chaos you set across the islands.

With the complete edition you end up with enough extra (and fun!) toys to add even more playtime to your game. Some can be seen as too overpowered but all in all it really doesn't matter! It's still a blast to blow away those pesky soldiers as you cruise around in armored or extremely agile vehicles.

All in all, a must have if you enjoy the sandbox free roam feel in a game.

Just cause 2 is seriously my all time favorite game of all time and right now there is also an beta for the multiplayer if you follow the mod developers on twitter you might be lucky and get to join the server and that is another reason to buy this wounderful game!

this game is a blast! even years later i still fire it up for a number of reasons..

one of the best 3D vision games out there, it doesnt just support it it was MADE for it! the action in this game is completely insane, i never tire of stealing a jet and crashing it into structures (i havent ever got the landings down personally) then stealing a car and just hunting for power-ups while everyone is trying to kill me. the story is ok, certainly enough to care about the character and the customization of the weapons is great fun. the scenery is also BEAUTIFUL, it really is breathtaking even to this day.

totally recommend to ANYONE who enjoys action games.

Really fun game. It's only faults are 3-weapons-at-same-time limited equipment (and in the end, you should just run with some rocket launcher as big gun and some SMG+pistol combo if you want to just run around destroying everything) and rather monotonic wars ('cause fights doesn't actually say it right) with soldiers (similar issue to Far Cry 2).

But destruction, driving, and all craziness it top notch.

Really fun game. As this is the Complete Edition, all the DLC's are included. Which of course, is really nice. Especially the Monster Truck DLC. I really suggest you get this instead of just the normal game because there's not that much of a price difference.

The game itself is as I said, a really fun game. The grappling hook and the parachute + all the other cool things you can use and do makes it really fun to play for hours just going around the map like some kind of maniac. If you like cool games, this is the game for you!

Overall this is a fun game. It's not realistic and it's not trying to be. It's just mindless fun, hijack a helicopter and terrorize a city. There are tons of explosions and a lot of things to do. You purchase items with money and "Chaos" you get Chaos by completing missions or blowing things up, which is always fun. Who doesn't want to get money by blowing things up? :P The addons aren't necessary but they give you a slight edge. You still have to pay for some of them though. Overall great fun game that I recommend for the price.

This game is really a blast, I've loved every second I've put into it. I enjoyed it quite a bit and really recommend it to anyone who is even vaguely interested in it. Keep in mind the game is fun, the story isn't anything worth noting, also it's a steamworks game(It has to be activated on steam).

This game is bananas! B A N A N A S! Go anywhere, do anything. Explore a vast, well made world and blow every single motherlovin' part of it to kingdom come! Shoot, fly, drive, jump, parasail, zipline. There's just nothing about this game that isn't a blast from start to finish. The first couple of missions make you feel like you're on a rail, but power through them. Once it opens up, it opens up into an entire country of awesome.

Be your own stuntman! Grappling hooks, flying planes, free falling, the possibilities are endless!

This is the compilation pack for Just Cause 2 and it contains the base game Just Cause 2 and all the DLC's for a pretty good price. Just Cause 2 is a cool game, even though it is almost 2 years old it is still a blast to play and looks great. You can do almost anything you can think of action wise in this game..there is not much you can't do in this game. I beat this game the other day and I am still playing it and I have only completed 40% of the game, it is absolutely amazing there is always something to do. Wierd how I don't remember the first game and really happy that I got this game on discount and free with my Blue Coins with GamersGate!

One of the best games of 2010, and the best sandbox game I've played for years, great fun, extremely unique grapple mechanic completely changes the game, and a massive map.

The story isn't too strong, but how fun the rest of the game is more than overcomes it.

The DLC with the Complete Edition is an added bonus, many of them add alot of new ways to deal with things and increases the amount of fun to be had :-)

Very fun game! It allows you to free-roam, like GTA. You can play through the story/game or you can go off an experience the world. Much more vehicle interaction then GTA, which I've always liked. Not just cars either.

Paying the 3 extra bucks for all the DLCs was worth it. They added some enjoyment to free roam. Obviously they aren't necessary to the game.

The story line for this game is decent, though not a focus point. However, the open world setting where you can do as much damages as you want makes the game so much fun to play. In addition, the special offer for this game makes it a good deal to own it.

If you don't own this game, buy it immediately. It is by far the best, most ridiculous sandbox game out right now.

It's pick-up-and-destroy free roam gameplay is addictive, and the amount of detail put into the game will have players discovering new things, and experimenting with new things for weeks to come after the purchase.
