Just to add to Phoenixlgnis's post about compatability issues. Make sure that your GFX card is compatible with the games included, as they are completely incompatible with a large number of graphics cards that you would expect to work. (I think ati is the only supported - but check).

Otherwise, if you're here for the nostalgia value or a new comer to the Oddworld series then ENJOY. They are great fun. Definitely the kind of game where a small detail will grab you and stay with you for ages.

The Oddboxx review

The Oddboxx is a dream come true.

The Oddworld is one of the most dense and unique game worlds you are about to experience, ever. The game mix ranges from the 2D Jumb & Run & Talk genre of the Abe`s Oddysee & Exodus to the 3D Jumb & Run of Munch to the near perfect FPS installment in Stranger.

All of these games shine by their great presentation and twisted stories that are poetically, strange and gruesome at the same time. Soon you wonīt be playing a game but living a story. This is true immersion.

And they even still look beautiful today.

There are some minor gameplay-flaws throughout all the games, though. Abe 1 & 1 are frustratingly hard, Munch can be repetitive and Stranger has camera issue in 3rd Person view. Also since these are original console games, a game controller is recommended to enjoy them.

But donīt miss out on this Boxx if you are even remotely interested in some really unique and strange games.

OK, this is just a heads up to anyone that buys these games that, while they're tough, puzzle solving old school fun, they are extremely buggy on window's 7 64 bit.

I've had Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath freeze on me randomly several times and Munch's Oddysee freeze on me as soon as it got passed the opening movies in Window's 7 64 bit.

In the earlier games, Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, and Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, it can be difficult, if not impossible, for me to exit menus because it won't detect the ESC button on my old PS/2 keyboard.
