Problem for MAC download

I just downloaded the game and the details said PC/MAC when i go to download it, the game comes up as an excitable file (.exe) and osx can't run these files like windows can. How can i play the game, i know you can play it on steam but i tried adding the product code to the steam account but it didn't read the code! Please help!

Activating the serial on Steam (Game -> Activate a product on Steam) MUST work (you will not be able to play this game without Steam). Copy-paste it to make sure there is not any mistake. If there is no luck, you will have to contact support and explain your problem. Go to the support link at the bottom of this page and then create a support ticket.

By the way, your serial should look like this: 1AB2C-D3FGH-456I7-JK8LM-NOP9Q

Ah sorry for the late reply! I did work on gamers gate the last letter of the code was cut off by the screen and finally figured there was meant to be 5 digits instead of 4 digits in the last section and then reviewed the code! Thanks for your help!

p.s i didn't reply for ages because i was busy plying haha :P
