It would be extremely helpful if you would post your system specs. Now we have no idea if you're trying to run it on a netbook or a full-fledged desktop, which makes it very hard to determine possible causes ;)

ok, where can I get my system specs?

Basic information can be found by clicking the Start button, choosing "Control Panel", then "System and Maintenance", and then "System". This will show you what version of Windows you are using (and if it's 32bit or 64bit), what CPU you have, and how much RAM you have.

To see what graphics card you have, click the Start button, go to "Run", type in "dxdiag" and press ENTER. Here you'll find your current GPU on the second tab (incidentally, your other system info can be found on the first tab too).

What we at least need to be able to help you better, is:
* Windows version + 32bit or 64 bit
* CPU
* GPU (graphics card)
* Amount of RAM

Checked on HP site, and your GPU is either a GT 630M or GT 650M, both of which should be more than sufficient for the game.

You could try updating the drivers for your graphics card, see if that helps. From experience I know HP doesn't usually ship its laptops with up-to-date drivers, so updating them manually might solve the problem you are having.

your note books on board graphics card is the problem, i think it will only work if you had a AGP, PCI,PCIE, graphics card, which notebooks don't have or can put in it.

@calclif: according to HP's official site, his laptop has a GT 630M or GT 650M, which are more than sufficient for this game.

@dyeriptor: don't commit on my answer in the same thread

Honestly i don't know anything about this game but a common and simple solution to games crashing/not properly running is either to

1. Run as administrator and change the compatibility in the properties of the shortcut.

2. Update some stuff that is required, for example PunkBuster updates or BattleEye (for Arma) updates have, in my experience, actually solved crashing, even though i would only expect them to kick me out of online games

About your specs, i'm not that good with that stuff, if the game is listed on www.systemrequirementslab.com you might be able to run a quick test, it's a good way for a spec noob such as myself to find out if i can run something or not.

Hope that was of any help.
