Your train’s weight and momentum are simulated, challenging you to maintain a steady but efficient speed while transporting heavy cargo.

For instance, Tracks challenges you to design a rail system that accommodates passengers’ commuting needs. Or transport cargo and build the most efficient rail network to complete objectives in the fastest time possible.
Environments
Varied environments await, acting as playgrounds in Tracks: The Train Set Game. Go off the rails, ride along the furniture, and bump into objects to activate them. Each environment contains unique features for you to experiment with and incorporate into your track designs.
Share
We are currently researching Steam Workshop support so players can share their tracks with other players online. We will update this section once we have a good idea of the functionality available after a few tests!
New features:
Multiple Trains Now Available
Once a second train has been placed, pressing T will instead open the new train menu.
Here you have access to options such as choosing which train to drive, adding carriages, customisation and starting points.
When you have one train, holding T will now open the train menu instead of resetting the train. This will eventually replace the carriages and start point objects in the toy box.
This is a big milestone and a lot of different parts of the game have been tweaked and reworked to allow for more than one train. Many interactive objects have been temporarily moved to the experimental category due to big changes made so they would work with multiple trains.
Junction Switch
Junction pieces can now be clicked on when in build mode to automatically guide the train down that path. This is very useful with multiple trains since you no longer need to be driving a train to make it turn!
New Objects
New objects have been added to the toy box, allowing players to place wind turbines, cranes, scooters, taxis and more.
